Chapter chat mapmakers race

Map Makers race is about a family that lost their parents on a train and have been waiting 20 something days to find them.
Chapter chat this year has been pretty good, But my favourite was fish in a tree which I heard in the batten team. I'd rate the map makers race it about a 5 out of 10 didn't really show much interest. I don't know much of the characters. I wasn't exactly sure what happened in the story.

This has been a fun filled school week This week has been very different because were in isolation, because of covid 19. For fun I played my backyard playing games such as volleyball and basketball. My mum is an essential worker because she works as a nurse at moorhouse medical.

This week has been a normal week filled with tests. For R.E we have been doing a big lesson on the first arrivals to N.Z. Even Tainas mum came to talk to us about her history with the treaty and her ancestors tribe. Her ancestors iwi got dropped off at stewart island and couldn't sign and had to wait. 

For maths and chapter challenge for maths, I have learnt about fractions of a number and I actually did good in problem solving this week. For chapter challenge I did a fake text thing and i learnt about waterfalls. 

I liked softball it was fun.

Ramere 29th Whiringa - a - rangi

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog.  This week has been a pretty good week. Well start with Monday. On Monday I presented my speech it went really well!  My speech was on why Wnba players should be paid as much as Nba players.

On Thursday the Batten team and I went to the Science Roadshow.  It was really fun. There was an science exhibition.

Today I competed in the in the raw spaghetti and marshmallow competition. In my group there was Bryn, Charlie, Harry, and Robby. We had 18 minutes to create the highest tower.  It was measured from the bottom the the top of the marshmallow.

3D shapes

This week I learnt about 3D shapes

We learnt how to make the edges of a cube with a net/paper I copied of a side of a cereal box, I drawed the outline of it on a net and cut out the lines and then I folded it into where it needed to be folded and sellotaped where it needs to be sellotaped and "walla" it a 3D shape. My shape has 6 faces counting the top my shape also has 8 corners and 12 edges.

Hi guys

The term has been pretty good let's start with highlights i liked production it was tiring especially doing the work for it every single day but it did lead up to something. I liked doing market day with my friends Justin K and Justin T. I sold cookies. our business is called the cookie bros The teachers got half of the money and we got half.

I didn't really enjoy talking about eels that much but I liked going to centennial stream to do activities and do planting. I'm looking forward to speeches and swimming and the holidays.

Ramere 30 Here-turi-koko

Hi everyone.

This week has been sooo fun, because I went to Auckland from Friday morning about 6:30 am to about Wednesday night at about 8:00 pm. We went to the Sky tower, Rainbows end and this place called Kelly tarltons aquarium, which is like a underwater world with like Sharks, Stingrays and stuff like that. There were also a lot of beaches. We stayed at a hotel in Central City near the harbor.


This week at school I basically only got to do the normal day like maths and stuff. Today we did a test on maths which was pretty hard and boring and you had to focus like every question. Yesterday I presented my play about a celebrity show that was cool.  I was called Amanda who is a ex celebrity.

Two weeks ago we had a disco and it was from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and I had a lot of drinks and fizzy and lots of music. I just walked around with Joshua and Liam most of the time.
